The White House has confirmed the U.S. military has dropped its largest non-nuclear bomb on an ISIS hideout in Afghanistan- but refused to say whether the president authorized the strike.
White House spokesman Sean Spicer said all precautions necessary were taken to prevent civilian deaths, while the Pentagon confirmed it had been planning the attack for several months.
