Tillerson: US weighing "appropriate response" to Syrian attack; in U-turn says Assad must go

US officials say President Trump is considering the possibility of launching a military strike on Syria in the aftermath of this week's chemical attack in the north of the country.


And in a policy U-turn, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says the Trump administration now believes that Syrian President Bashar al Assad must go.
