One police officer has been killed and another wounded in a shooting incident on the Champs Elysees in Paris.
Police say one attacker was shot dead at the scene but it's not clear whether he acted alone.
There are some reports that a manhunt is underway for a second shooter.
Police cleared the area, and urged tourists and others to evacuate one of the busiest thoroughfares in the French capital.
