ExxonMobil seeks U.S. waiver to resume dealings with Russia

The oil giant Exxon Mobil is pursuing a waiver from US sanctions on Russia to drill in the Black Sea with Russia's state oil company.

The sanctions were imposed on Russia in response to its military intervention in Ukraine.

Former Exxon Mobil boss Rex Tillerson is now Donald Trump's Secretary of State.
