Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed the situation in North Korea and Syria with US President Donald Trump in a phone call on Wednesday, according to China's foreign ministry.
The phone call came a week after the two leaders met face-to-face for the first time in Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
