US: Texas lawmakers to hold hearing on transgender bathroom bill

The state of Texas has introduced a bill to limit bathroom access for
the transgender community.

Proponents of the bill have argued that it is a matter of public
safety, despite a lack of evidence backing their claim. LGBTQ
