American President Donald Trump has held his first cabinet meeting, promising a major increase in military spending and a continued clamp-down on migration.
While not all his cabinet nominees have been confirmed, Mr Trump told reporters he was on track to fulfilling election promises, including replacing the healthcare system. He also claimed credit of an for an additional 500 thousand jobs since he took office a month ago.
On immigration, Mr Trump said there had been a 40 percent decrease in illegal migration across the Mexican border since he took office, and said there would be increased vetting of migrants from other countries.
