UK bans electronic devices on flights

The UK has followed the US in announcing a ban on carry-on electronic devices on direct flights from several, largely muslim-majority countries.


Sources in the US have said that potential threats from the Islamic State to smuggle explosives onto planes had sparked the restrictions
