Russia dismisses US charge it may be supplying Taliban

LEAD:

Russia has dismissed a US allegation it may be supplying the Taliban in Afghanistan.  This comes after US Army General Curtis Scaparrotti told lawmakers in Washington that Moscow was 'perhaps' supplying the extremist group.  Julia Lyubova reports from Moscow.
