The Trump administration is expected to approve the permit needed to
move forward with construction of the Canada to US Keystone XL oil
pipeline on Friday, ending years of delay for a project that has been
central to national debate on climate change. The move marks a
reversal from the Obama administration, which rejected the pipeline
after deeming it contrary to national interests.
