Judge has ruled to proceed with the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline

A U.S. federal judge has ruled in favor of proceeding with the construction of the final section of the Dakota Access oil pipeline.

The ruling is a blow for local Native American tribes, who were hoping to detain the construction, arguing the pipeline would desecrate natural water that they used for religious ceremonies.
