EU Calls on Russia to Release Detained Protestors

The European Union is calling on Russia to release nearly a thousand demonstrators who were detained during anti-corruption protests across the country. 

The protests were sparked by allegations Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev took over one billion dollars in bribes.
