ECJ Upholds EU Sanctions Against Russian Companies

The European Court of Justice is upholding EU sanctions against Russian companies in response to the Ukraine conflict.

With this ruling, the ECJ has established its jurisdiction to rule on matters of EU foreign policy- which is a matter fiercely contested by Brussels and national EU governments.
