DPRK to keep pursuing nuclear capability if US-South Korea drills continue, says UN ambo

Pyongyang will continue to pursue nuclear capability as long as the US and South Korea carry on their joint military exercises, the North Korean ambassador to the United Nations told journalists Monday.


Ambassador Kim In Ryong said Pyongyang has the right to defend itself, and that UN Security Council sanctions are devoid of legal ground.
