Corbyn rejects Conservative claims that budget is creating fair a economy

Britain's leader of the opposition, Labour's Jeremy Corbyn has accused the government of the "utter complacency" about the economic challenges facing millions of people in the country.

Mr Corbyn's comments followed the national budget laid out by Finance Minister Phillip Hammond who noted that the economic growth forecast for this year had risen but insisted there was no room for complacency as the UK prepares for life outside the European Union.

Mr Corbyn angrily rejected the claims from the Conservative government that they are creating an economy that works for everyone.
