British tourist abduction and held prisoner in horrific outback road trip ordeal

Police in Australia's Queensland say they believe they may have saved the life of a young British tourist subjected to a "horrific and terrifying" ordeal when they pulled her over after she drove off without paying for petrol.
Arthur Stevens says Police noticed the 22 year old woman had noticeable injuries when they stopped the car she was driving on the outback Warrego Hwy about 600 kilometres (370 miles) west of Brisbane.
