British Prime Minister Theresa May is due to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty Wednesday, as the UK formally gives notice of its intention to the leave the European Union.
The Prime Minister will give a statement to parliament at the same time as Britain's permanent representative in Brussels hands a letter to European Council president Donald Tusk.
