Turkey Proposes Controversial Changes to School Curriculum

The Turkish Ministry of Education is pushing curriculum for the new school year that critics say imposes conservative-religious ideology on students.


Part of the proposal includes removing classes on evolution and Turkey's founding fathers, and adding lessons on the concept of jihad.
