The International Athletics Associations Federation has ruled Russia, suspended from the Association over doping in 2015, may not reinstate its membership before November. That may prevent Russian athletes from taking part in this summer's World Athletics Championship. However, some athletes cleared individually by the IAAF may compete under a neutral banner.
