Row Continues Over Trump Administration’s Treatment Of Press

The White House Chief of Staff has defended Donald Trump's hostile attitude to the US media.

Speaking on 'Face the Nation' on CBS, Reince Priebus condemned the use of un-named officials as anonymous sources in several recent stories, such as a New York Times report about the Trump campaign's contacts with Russia.

He said such practices made it difficult to separate truth and lies:

But Republican Senator from Arizona John McCain isn't holding back on criticising the President for his attitude towards the media.
