Pres. Trump's Labor Sec. nominee withdraws

Andrew Puzder, U.S. President Donald Trump's nominee to be Labor Secretary, is withdrawing from consideration, according to a statement.

He was a controversial nominee from the outset, well known for opposing minimum wage laws as the CEO CKE restaurants, which franchises such fast food chains as Carl Jr. and Hardees.
