The scientists of the Spitzer Space Telescope project are confirming, they've found seven planets in the Trappist-1 system that are the right size to support life, and three of them are in the habitable zone.
Since 1995, thousands of exoplanets - planets orbiting other stars have been discovered - and its thought dozens are in the right spot to support life.
Thomas Zurbuchen is an associate administrator for NASA was very excited by the research:

The scientists looked at the size, spacing and other features of the exoplanets.
Michael Gillon, the lead researcher and a professional at the University of Liege, says one of the 3 planets holds an essential ingredient for life.
