The family of the suicide bomber who detonated a car bomb at an Iraqi army base earlier this week says he was a former inmate at Guantanamo Bay.
Abu-Zakariya al-Britani was released from Gitmo in 2004, and subsequently awarded one million dollars in compensation for alleged mistreatment while in the jail.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
