Downing Street plays down possibility of Lords abolishing Brexit Bill

The 'Brexit Bill' which will allow the UK government to begin negotiations to leave the European Union will now been passed to the House of Lords for further scrutiny.


There had been some suggestion that the Lords could move to abolish the bill, however 10 Downing Street has played down these warnings.
