The UK government's Brexit legislation faces its final vote to clear the House of Commons later ((after 2000GMT)).
The bill which will give the Prime Minister the power to start formal negotiations on leaving the EU is expected to pass.
It will then head to the House of Lords and is likely to become law in early March, meaning Brexit talks could then begin.
On Tuesday the government saw off attempts to add amendments to its bill by promising MPs will get a vote on a final draft deal before the European Parliament gets final sign off.
Conservative MP Stephen Hammond was considering rebelling against his party until that concession was made.
