Georgian authorities have confirmed the arrest of a man suspected of plotting to poison the head of the Georgian Orthodox church. Patriarch Ilia the Second is currently being treated in a hospital in Germany. According to local media reports, the suspect headed the Church's property department and complained about corruption involving top government and religious officials.
