AMNESTY: THOUSANDS OF CIVILIANS EXECUTED IN SYRIA

Thousands of civilians were secretly executed at a prison in Syria between 2011 and 2015 according to Amnesty International.

The UK-based rights group claims the alleged hangings were authorised by the Syrian government.
