UN Chief pledges surge in diplomacy, UN reforms


The new United Nations Secretary General has vowed to reform the world body and pursue a surge in diplomacy toward peace.


Antonio Guterres (gu-TEH-resh) on Wednesday said acknowledged the UN's shortcomings, but said the organization is irreplaceable.
