UK STRIKE ACTION CONTINUES

Strike misery for London commuters continues with train drivers walking out - a day after much of the London Underground network was closed because of industrial action.

Unions are locked in a dispute with Southern rail over its commitment to driver-only-operated trains, with no traditional guards on board.

Hundreds of services and thousands of commuters in the south east of England are being affected.

A two-day strike over pay by some British Airways cabin crew is also underway at Heathrow airport - but BA says the impact to passengers will be limited.

Charlotte Wright is at Victoria station - she says the Southern rail strike is having a huge effect.
