U.S. president-elect Donald Trump called German chancellor Angela Merkel's refugee policy 'catastrophic' in a joint interview with Germany's Bild Newspaper and the Times of London.
Trump also said Merkel was by far the most important leader in Europe and described the European Union as a vehicle for Germany.
