Trump adviser denies President-elect was warned by US intelligence about Russia dossier

Donald Trump has again dismissed reports that Russia may have compromising materials relating to his personal and business affairs as "fake news", and one of his top advisers is denying that the President-elect was briefed by intelligence officials on the issue.

Mr. Trump is due to hold a news conference in New York shortly.

His chief of staff, Reince Priebus, told NBC News that Mr. Trump was not warned by US intelligence about the existence of a dossier detailing unsubstantiated reports of Russian surveillance operations against him.
