Russia optimistic ahead of Syria talks but tight-lipped on US involvement

Russian officials are confident that the upcoming Syrian peace talks
in Kazakhstan can solidify the country's ceasefire and improve the
humanitarian situation.

Russia and Turkey brokered the talks and the Kremlin remains
tight-lipped on whether the United States will play a role at the
talks.
