Russia not consulted over Syrian “safe zone” plan

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov says Washington has not coordinated
with Moscow on the proposed idea of creating safe zones in Syria.

This comes after President Trump said in an interview with ABC News
that he would use safe zones for Syrian refugees fleeing violence in
the country.
