Rep Senator Marco Rubio says he'll back Tillerson for U.S. Secretary of State

US Republican Senator Marco Rubio says he'll vote for Rex Tillerson to be the next US Secretary of State, effectively confirming President Trump's choice for America's top diplomat.

Mr Tillerson's relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin had caused some concern for Senate Republicans, but Senator Rubio said a swift confirmation was in America's national interest.
