Obama commutes Chelsea Manning sentence

President Obama has commuted the sentence of Chelsea Manning, who passed US Army documents to Wikileaks and is serving a 35 year sentence in a military jail.


She's to be freed in May in a decision that is likely to be enormously controversial.
