Barack Obama will leave office on Friday with an approval rating above average for modern presidents, according to a new poll for the Washington Post newspaper and ABC News.
Surveys also show that Mr. Obama's signature healthcare law, the Affordable Care Act, is at its most popular, just as it is about to be repealed by the new Republican controlled Congress.
