May calls for new trade arrangement with EU as she indicates UK will put out of single market

British Prime Minister Theresa May has called for a comprehensive, bold and ambitious free trade agreement with the European Union as  the country makes a clean break from the bloc. 

The British leader has set out her priorities as the UK prepares to leave the EU following the Brexit vote.   She promised the UK would seek to be a truly global power,  trading with countries beyond Europe.  As Catherine Drew reports
