Britain's Finance Secretary has warned that the UK may be forced to change its economic model if it is forced to leave the European Union single market.
Chancellor Philip Hammond told a German publication the government would do whatever it took to remain competitive following Brexit, Britain's vote to leave the European trading block.
His remarks come ahead of a major speech from Prime Minister Theresa May Tuesday during which she is due to spell out details of her Brexit strategy.
From London, Catherine Drew reports.
