US Senators Call For Russia Hacking Committee

A bipartisan group of US senators are calling for a new select committee on cyber attacks to be created, to look into possible Russian interference in the US election.

In a letter released on Sunday, the two Republicans and two Democrats urged the senate majority leader to create the group, to carry out an investigation into what they called 'the ultimate cross jurisdictional challenge'.

Arizona Republican John McCain, who's one of the four, told CNN that any Russian interference is a huge concern:

But President Elect Donald Trump dismisses claims of Russian interference, and his campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told CBS News on Sunday that the intelligence services - and those suggesting that the electoral college should change the result of the election because of hacking- are undermining democracy
