UN: Up to 15,000 Myanmar refugees have crossed into China

As many as 15,000 people may have crossed the Myanmar border into
China over the last month. According to a United Nations agency
they're fleeing worsening clashes between rebel fighters and
government forces in the northern states of Kachin and Shan.
