President Obama to host Japan's PM Abe in Hawaii

U.S. President Barack Obama is set to host Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (on Tuesday December 27) for a visit which will include a stop at U.S.S. Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, some 75 years after Japan attacked America, bringing the U.S. into World War II.

Previously, (On May 27, 2016) the American president made an historic visit to Hiroshima, where the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb as part of its efforts to end World War II.

Daniel Kritenbrink, the Senior Director for Asian Affairs at the National Security Council confirmed the historic nature of the visit:
