Banks urge UK Government to allow phased Brexit for Financial Institutions


The UK's biggest banks are urging the country's government to allow them to remain under EU law for up to 5 years after Brexit.


Legal documents have been drawn up by three of the UK's biggest law firms on behalf of these banks to lobby the government for a phased EU exit for financial institutions.
