UK TO UNVEIL MINI-BUDGET AMID BREXIT UNCERTAINTY

The UK is set to announce extra housebuilding and measures to help the so-called JAMs - people who are Just About Managing.

Finance minister Philip Hammond is setting out his first Autumn Statement as Chancellor.

It will also contain fresh forecasts expected to predict higher borrowing and slower economic growth as a result of Britain's vote to leave the EU.

Mr Hammond has warned he has little cash to play with…

… but Conservative MP Sir Oliver Letwin says he's capable of delivering meaningful policies.
