Coming the day after the US Thanksgiving holiday, Black Friday sees many retailers slash prices in an attempt to rack up sales.
In the UK Black Friday sales are expected to hit a record as shoppers look for bargains in the expectation that the fall in the value of the pound will see prices rise in 2017.
