Americans are going to the polls across the US to choose their next President. Polls opened at 6am on the East Coast, and the results are expected towards midnight local time on Wednesday.
Both Republican Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton spent their final day of campaigning on Monday criss crossing key swing states, but the Democrat had the edge in election eve polls.
