LAPD Won't Alter Immigration Policy For Trump

The Los Angeles Police department has announced they will not change
their stance on immigration enforcement, despite President-elect
Donald Trump's pledge to toughen federal immigration laws and deport
millions. Police Chief Charlie Beck said Monday the LAPD will not take
a lead from federal agents in deporting citizens, and will rather
encourage officers to engage with communities who fear for their
futures
