Islamic State hang 40 civilians from electricity poles

The United Nations has announced that the so-called Islamic State has
shot then hung up the bodies of 40 civilians in the Iraqi city of
Mosul.

Pro-government forces have been advancing on the IS stronghold for
several weeks and the International Organization of Migration say
around 50,000 people have already been displaced.
