Human Rights Watch say 1200 homes razed in Myanmar

Human Rights Watch has announced that over 1000 homes belonging to
Myanmar's Muslim Rohingya have been razed.

The government has denied these latest claims but a security operation
has been underway in the Rakhine area of the country for several
weeks.

The Rohingya people are seen as one of world's most persecuted groups
and thousands still live in camps following clashes with the Buddhist
Rakhine in 2012.

William Denselow reports from New York.
