Sources with ties to leadership in Beijing say they are carefully
watching to see if US President-elect Donald Trump will go through
with a deployment of a U.S. anti-missile system in South Korea, saying
it could be a key indicator as to how political ties unfold with China
going forward. South Korea and the United States have agreed to deploy
a system to counter missile threats from North Korea within eight to
10 months.
