UN said it helped extract former South Sudan Vice-President Riek Machar

The United Nations said it helped deposed South Sudanese
Vice-President Riek Machar move safely within the Democratic Republic
of Congo.

Machar's location was previously unknown, after he reportedly fled
the capital, Juba, amid violent clashes in July that
fractured the terms of the UN-brokered peace deal.
